Terms of Service

1. The service

Computer is a one-click cloud that deploys open-source applications into isolated machines on our infrastructure. By creating an account or launching an app you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be 16 or older to use Computer. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Computer to host illegal content, send spam, mine cryptocurrency, run denial-of-service attacks, or violate the license of any deployed software. Free demo machines are time-limited and may be reclaimed at any time.

4. Open-source software

Apps in the catalog are third-party open-source projects, each under its own license. We provide hosting and automation only; we do not own or warrant those projects, and trademarks belong to their owners.

5. Plans and billing

Instant demos are free. Persistent, always-on instances are billed monthly per the prices shown at checkout. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior three months.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your console. We may terminate or suspend the service for breach of these terms. On termination your machines are stopped and data may be deleted.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
